Program Scheme
1. Funding Categories
General scholar: applicable to current undergraduates or graduates.
Senior scholar: applicable to current Ph. D candidates or faculties
2. Duration
1-12 months, Start study in China no later than August 31, 2026.
3. Majors available
--English-taught majors including master of Business Administration, Computer Science and Technology, Applied Economics, Theoretical Economics, Industrial Engineering and Management, Ph.D of Business Administration, Computer Science and Technology, Applied Economics, Theoretical Economics, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering.

4. Disciplines:
All disciplines other than Chinese language study.
Funding
Successful applicants will receive a full scholarship from CSC during their stay in China, including tuition waiver, free on-campus accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance and monthly stipend (CNY 3,000 for general scholars; CNY 3,500 for senior scholars).
Eligibility
1. Be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China and be in good health both mentally and physically.
2. Be under 45 applying for general scholars. Be under 50 applying for senior scholars.
3. Register as full-time student or employed as full-time academic staff at CSC ’s foreign partner university by the time of application and throughout the proposed stay in China. Foreign university list please refer to Appendix 1.
4. Have obtained admission qualification from Hunan University.
Application Process
Scholarship application portal opens to applicants all year round.
1. Applicants should visit “CSC Study in China” website https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login , click “Scholarship Application for Students”, register an account through “Create an Account” and log in with your account.
2. Applicants should click “Edit Personal Details” to input personal details and fill in the application information (please select Program Category “Type B” and input the Agency Number “10532”).
3. Applicants should upload “Supporting Documents” as requested, then click “Submit” to complete the application.
4. Hunan University will contact the applicants and issue “Pre-admission” to the applicants who achieve the required standard in the preliminary verification.
5. Applicants should upload the “Pre-admission” to the application system and click “Submit” again.
6. Hunan University will inform the applicants who finally get admitted with the Scholarship by email or by phone.
Application Documents
1. ID photo
2. Scanned Passport Homepage: it should be within validity.
3. Certificate of Highest Education: If not applicable, please upload a school letter or employment letter issued by your current foreign university.
4. Transcripts of Highest Education. If not applicable, please upload a school letter or employment letter issued by the current f university.
5. Study Plan: it should be written in Chinese or English, at least 500 words.
6. Physical Examination Record for Foreigner: Applicants planning to stay in China for more than 6 months must submit a photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form completed in English or Chinese (Appendix 2). Applicants staying in China less than 6 months could upload a Personal Health Statement instead.
7. Non-criminal records report: Applicants planning to stay in China for more than 6 months must submit a photocopy of the Non-criminal Record issued by the public authority at current residency. Applicants staying in China less than 6 months could upload a Non-criminal Records Statement instead.
